Warped by harsh seasons and stormy weather
It's form, far from grotesque is pleasant and comely
It's branches put forth brilliant blossoms and from them a fine fragrance
Its roots drink deep gulps of the rain that buffets it
cool nourishment pulled from the soil
The branches provide shade to anyone who would dwell beneath them
And many have found rest there
The tree in maturity, could rival an oak, though its trunk is contorted and bruised.
